It certainly feels like there's less chemicals in it, because my teeth don't feel as clean, and I don't really feel refreshed after using. It sort of burns while using (in a spice kind of way), and leaves me with the after-taste of a cleaning from the dentist.I'm not a fan of the fact that there's no ingredient percentages on the back, as there's no way to know if this is actually effective based on dentist recommendations. No fluoride is also not ideal for adults based on dentist recommendations, but if you're specifically here for no fluoride, then maybe that's a plus for you.

The clove adds a warm, slightly spicy feel and my teeth feel smooth after brushing. It’s gentle on sensitive spots but still feels like it’s doing the job. Love that it’s fluoride-free and made in Australia. Great for evening brushing or when you want something different from mint.

It is a lot thinner than the normal toothpaste I use and also is very light on flavour. I make sure to use mouth wash as I feel this toothpaste alone would not be enough to make my breath smell fresh. I love the pump style bottle and it's less messy than squirt tube. My teeth do feel clean after brushing with this tooth paste.

I wasn't actually expecting to like this toothpaste. I gave it a try for the novelty, but as I'm perfectly happy with regular toothpaste I thought this one would be a gimmick. It's actually super nice, I was wrong.Despite being clove, not mint, my teeth and mouth feel very fresh after use. It doesn't foam up immediately, but after a moment it lathers into this really smooth, refined foam that I really like. My teeth get squeaky clean. There's also a pleasant slightly numbing sensation from the clove that I enjoy, I suppose it's a replacement for mintiness. The unique dispenser is really tidy, and looks quite luxe on the counter. If you're looking for an alternative to your regular toothpaste, this one is a really excellent and luxurious option. It feels like a little moment of self-care during what's usually a pretty mundane task.
