Sustainably derived from natural birch bark. Purpose: sweetener, helps prevent tooth decay and plaque formation, and balances mouth bacteria.

Derived from sustainable palm. Purpose: Mild surfactant for cleansing the mouth and provides the foaming effect.

While they sound similar, this is not the same as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS). SLS is a strong detergent and foaming agent that can cause dryness, irritation and is much less eco-friendly, whereas Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate is more eco-friendly, gentle, doesn't cause dryness and is suitable for sensitive skin and mouths.

Derived from Acacia trees and Xanthan is formed synthetically, for sustainable reasons of not harvesting from natural plants and damaging natural eco systems, from bacteria. This product is eco certified and biodegradable. Purpose: Acts as a thickener, suspends minerals in solution and stabilises the formula.
